The course is designed for children aged 13 – 15 and spans 3 terms.
Term 1: Fundamentals and Foundations
- Biology: Cell structure and function, biological molecules, enzymes, and basics of nutrition.
- Chemistry: Atomic structure, periodic table, bonding, and introduction to chemical reactions.
- Physics: Measurements, motion, forces, and energy concepts.
Term 2: Expanding Knowledge and Skills
- Biology: Respiration, photosynthesis, human anatomy basics, and circulatory system.
- Chemistry: States of matter, mixtures, separating techniques, and introduction to acids and bases.
- Physics: Waves, sound, light, and thermal physics.
Term 3: Application and Integration
- Biology: Reproduction, genetics, evolution, and ecology basics.
- Chemistry: Reactivity series, metals, non-metals, and basic organic chemistry.
- Physics: Electricity, magnetism, electromagnetism, and introductory electronics.
Cost: £550 per year, payable in 10 monthly instalments of £55.00.
