About Shaykh Ibrahim:
Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Efa was born and raised in Liverpool, England. He was blessed with the opportunity to study several classical disciplines at the hands of some of the holders of the tradition such as Murābiṭ al-Ḥājj, al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz and Shaykh Hassān al-Hindi. Initially studying for three years in Syria and Mauritania, Shaykh Ibrahim was then honoured to spend over six years in the illuminated city of Tarim, Hadramaut where he studied under the qualified hands of teachers such as al-Habib Kazim al-Saqqaf, al-Habib ‘Ali al-Jifri and al-Shaykh ‘Umar Husain al-Khatib.
He is one of the founders of several Islamic initiatives including the Ibn Abbas Institute, Starlatch Press, and Badr Language Institute. Since 2005 his primary focus has been on setting up and growing Greensville Trust, a UK based Islamic education charity. As of present, Shaykh Ibrahim is working to establish the Muṣṭafā Mount Complex, Greensville’s vision to establish a bonafide endowment to serve British Muslims. God willing, the Bradford based campus will feature The Rawḍah Mosque, a Madrasa for children and adults, a nursery, primary education, a Wedding and Function Centre, a Hotel and Lodge, The Futuwwa Gym and much more.
