Description
This exquisite calligraphy transcends mere artistry, forging a deep connection to Faith, Reality, and Divine Remembrance. It captures the unlimited greatness of Salatul Fatih—a prayer dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Each stroke of this calligraphic work seeks to depict the eternal effulgence of Divine Grace, flowing endlessly from Muhammad (ﷺ).
Like a radiant moon casting its light, this circular composition symbolises the continuous unfolding of Divine Illumination. At its heart, the name of Muhammad (ﷺ) is beautifully written, reflecting his role as the axis of creation and emphasising his central place in Islamic Ontology. From this centre, the verses of Salatul Fatih spiral outwards, as though salawat itself is flowing into your home. The verses, skillfully rendered in the traditional Sudani script—a style known for its bold lines and angular structure—bring a sense of sacred geometry and rhythmic flow to the piece. Sudani script, often associated with West African Islamic manuscripts, enhances the depth and richness of this work.
