    Description

    Character Building consists of four subjects: Aqida, Seerah, Fiqh and Life Coaching. Through these subjects we aim to shape our students’ mindset and actions to be reflective of the Prophet Muhammad’s character. Our focus is not on teaching doctrine and jurisprudence from a knowledge standpoint but to inculcate a rich understanding of the deen that would result in good character and stewardship of humanity.

    Welcome to Character Building (Fiqh – Level 1) at Stewards.ONE. This course is designed for students aged 12-14 and provides an introduction to basic Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh). Students will learn essential practices such as purification (Taharah) and prayer (Salah), alongside the fundamental characteristics required of a Muslim. The curriculum is based on “Al-Akhdari” by Abdu-Arahman Al-Akdari and “40 Hadith” compiled by Imam An-Nawawi, ensuring a thorough grounding in Islamic Jurisprudence.

    Cost: £400 per year, payable in 10 monthly instalments of £40.00.

    Mohammed Ali is a graduate of the African American Islamic Institute located in Medina Baye, Kaolack Senegal, founded by the erudite Islamic scholar Shaykh Imam Hassan Cisse. Originally from Brooklyn, NY he first attended the prestigious Howard University, located in Washington D.C, where he studied the fine arts and Philosophy.

    After a year of study, he decided to travel abroad in order to pursue Islamic knowledge. In 2012 he began his journey and spent the last 12 years studying Arabic and the Islamic sciences under the tutelage of Shaykh Muhammad Mahy Cisse and various Shinqiti and Azhari scholars. He was successful in completing the rigorous program and has received his diploma in both Classical Arabic and Islamic Studies. He was given authorization to teach Islamic Jurisprudence and Classical Arabic in 2018 by Shaykh Muhammad Mahy Cisse and has been successful in balancing both his studies and teaching on his downtime.
